Hi Joe.

following your message I added the output variable Surface Outside Face Beam Solar Incident Angle Cosine Value to the simulation and multiplied the results with the hourly values of the Direct Solar Radiation. The results are comparable to those for Surface Outside Face Incident Beam Solar Radiation Rate for the flat roof with a slight offset.
