PCM's provide only diurnal thermal storage, so your results are correct. In an internal load driven building however the PCM should provide heating benefits, generally in the early morning hours.   The BioPCM does not come in 26C- perhaps you are talking about a 25C or 27C?

i added BioPCM 26 into the inside faces of my EnergyPlus model of a house. i used Melbourne weather and simulated for one year. 


Results verified that while PCM could reduce the 24 hour variations in indoor temperatures, it could not help to store summer heat for winter use
