The I/O is inconsistent. It says,"DisplayAdvancedReportVariables" on pp. 27,152, 204, "DisplayAdvancedVariables" on p. 284, 1727, , "DisplayAdvancedReportVariable" on pp. 487, 513, etc. So, I went with what's in the Energy+.idd, i.e.,
 Output:Diagnostics,DisplayAdvancedReportVariables;
However, I failed to get anything in the *.eso or *.csv files. The hourly report specification is written as:
 Output:Variable,
 AT-FLOORM, !- Key_Value
 Surface Average Face Conduction Heat Gain Rate, !- Variable_Name
 Hourly; !- Reporting_FrequencyOn 30/09/2013 11:40 AM, Edwin Lee wrote:

Jeremiah,
I don't use the IDF editor. I just edit the IDF. I've tried adding the following to the IDF
 Output:Diagnostics,
 DisplayAdvancedReportVariables,
 DisplayAdvancedReportVariables;
but it didn't work (assuming that I would see a larger *.rdd). Could you look into one of your IDFs where you've turned this mode on, and see how this command is written?
Thanks.
